Day 1 flight Nepalgunj - Simikot , start trek Burgauntse (3000 meter, 1,5 hour) - homestay
The tour starts with a short flight from Nepalgunj to Simikot, the start of the trek.
The trek starts today with a walk of about one and a half hours from Simikot to Buraunse. The path you walk is a narrow mountain path and the only connection between Simikot and Nyin valley. The only transport modes here are horse, yak, mule or walking.

Today you enter one of the most remote valleys of Nepal and very few visited by tourists. On your right you will find the beautiful mountain range named Panchamukhi which has snow from late September to May. This hike today rised only slightly.

Today's hike is to get used to the altitude. Small donkey or horse caravans loaded with sacks of grain, rice or potatoes, can be seen on the way. Please note that you will be on the mountain side to pass the animals. Buraunse has stunning views Panchamukhi mountains of the Himalayas. You sleep with the family Parmawa, a family with two sons and grandmother in the house. You then have plenty of time to explore the beautiful village with its friendly residents or dive into the kitchen to help mom Ingkit with preparing the food!
Day 2 Buraunse - Langdhu - Barjaun- Torpa- Hutik - Nimatang (3200 meter, 5 hours)
Today you will walk a short trek of about 5 hours. The trail rises 200 meters and only at the beginning is a steep climb. The view is awesome!  Note the splendid mani walls and chorten on the road and remember that you clockwise circumbulate these religious buildings. You pass the small settlements of Langdhu and Hutik and in between the larger village Torpa which welcomes you with a beautiful gateway, (kangnyi in local dialect), in which colorful Buddhist paintings pf Amitayu are arranged. This entrance is in every village and always on the southwest side because one assumes that the demons come from that side. By walking through the Kangnyi you will be cleansed of your sins and any spiritual obstacles. Downstairs between Torpa and Nimatang is the larger village Barjaun. The distant snow-capped Changla Himal (6563 meters) are well visible from Nimatang. Nimatang also welcomes you with a Gate,. If you are up to four people, you can stay in a nice family home. If you are with more you can camp on the terraces pasture just after Nimatang.
Day 3 Nimatang - Raling Gompa ( 3650 meter, 5 hours)
Today, you do not have to wake up early. You have plenty of time to see how the breakfast is prepared. In the kitchen chapatis are made on the stove or maybe buckwheat pancakes.
If you want help to see if you can make your own chapati you will be invited as soon as you ask. After a hearty breakfastyou can make your own little pilgrimage to Raling Gompa, beautiful located with the backdrop of the mountains Shenmola kang.
Few if any people you will meet along the way in this very isolated part of the world. The tour is pretty tough because the path you follow is almost continuously rising. Take your time, you have the whole day to hike after all. Drink water regularly and protect yourself against the bright sun. Today you will rise about 450 meters. The higher you go the more chorten and prayer flags welcome you. You see Raling Gomba lie at the foot of moraines from the Shenmola Kang mountains forming a stunning backdrop to the Buddhist temple. When you finally reach Raling Gompa, fatigue melts like snow in the sun. Once you arrive you will have to walk round (kora) around the temple along with the clock. You can of course walk more to your liking ..
Day 4 Raling Gompa-Teh- Karpunath ( 2100 meter, 7,5 hours)
Today you do the reverse of yesterday, making a descent of up to 1550 meters! Almost the entire walk you drop considerably. First you walk back the way you're gone yesterday after the bridge. Somewhere before Nimatang you go down. You descend steeply down through fields where, depending on the season, crops will be  growing or residents look busy maintaining the fields crops such as wheat and potatoes. The descent is steep!  Use your stick and rest frequently to give your knees a rest. Request help from the guide to give you a hand with steep parts with lots of loose stones. You will pass through the village Chetri Teh. You see women with their typical clothes, gold nose rings and huge heavy gold earrings. The houses of Chetri are built differently than the Bara Tapalya. They have a sort of porch with a wooden fence before. After Teh it goes steeply downhill. The destination is the river that you see from afar. Downstairs you follow the river west. You pass a teahouse and suspension bridge with some shops and away as the river and hence the path takes a right turn, a Hindu temple. After 15 minutes you will see a second suspension bridge that you pass this time and you're where you spend the night in the teahouse Karpunath. The stop-off point is very simple.
If you never actually hike in the mountains, not good balance can hold and / or or has weak knees, we do not recommend this last steep stretch to the river. Walk rather than to the Bara Tapalya Barjaun village where you stay with a family. The next day you walk than 3.5 hours to Simikot.
Day 5 Karpunath - Simikot ( 4 uur)
In the morning you will depart from the teahouse. You walk across a mountain ridge back to Simikot. It is all together quite a climb so keep your stick ready. First you walk on a fairly flat trail and follow the river. It is wonderfully green and the trees give your shade may be some welcome due to the heat. After a leafy place with water instead leaving the course of the river and the climb starts just above this piece trail is busy with traffic. The people you will meet carry everything: huge trunks, rice, barley, potatoes, stones to build houses. Also amany horses and mule caravans pass. Even herds of goats are used as pack animals. They often carry salt to sell. Everything on the way to Simikot. It is in pieces strewn with stones and rocks so hiking it is not easy. If caravans pass always stay on the mountain side. Then eventually you will see Simikot. Hooray! reaches final goal! You will sleep tonight in Simikot to take back the aircraft to Nepalgunj the next day.
Day 8 Simikot - Nepalgunj
You will fly back to Nepalgunj.
